If you're reading this newsletter, which you are, chances are somewhere around 55% that your computer monitor is set to a resolution of 800X600. Over half the world is set here.

One thing that's a definite webmaster no-no is to design a website where your visitor has to use a horizontal scroll bar in their browser because your website is too big.
Now, if you are designing web pages for 800X600 and your computer screen resolution is set to 800X600, you'll see what the other 55% of humanity sees. Test the appearance of your web pages at various screen resolutions online. It's a fr.ee service at AnyBrowser.com.

The process is very simple. This page at AnyBrowser.com provides you with a field where you'll plug in the URL for the page you want to test, and then you can scroll down the page and click different buttons to test the appearance of your web page at common screen resolutions.
This same type of free online testing is also available at WebDeveloper.
